| Pakkins Land
Writer-artist Gary Shipman presents this excellent fantasy series and permeates it with a strong Christian worldview. Certain to appeal to fans of C. S. Lewis Chronicles of Narnia.
A series of strange events brings a boy named Paul to a fantastic world called Pakkins Land. There Paul meets a mysterious giant Eagle of light who gives him a feather as a token of friendship. At the touch of the feather Paul feels something magical. The eagle vanishes and Paul realizes that he is lost in this new world. Paul isnt alone for long though. He is befriended by extraordinary talking animals; Gus, a brave lion-like creature, and Mr. Brambles, a large but friendly bear.
